Fresh from a Palm Beach estate, one original owner who purchased the fur in the 1950's. The natural Arctic fox fur is ivory cream, not stark white nor has it been bleached like many new imports from overseas. This is a true vintage, family heirloom fur perfect for someone who appreciates vintage and would like to add a sentimental accessory to their ensemble. This fur tells a story and has a history and is just waiting for a bride to carry on the tradition of "something old" to wear on her wedding day.
The original lining is made of a delicate silk, free of stains or markings. There is some light wear near the hook and eye closure, not visible when worn. We chose to keep the original silk lining as it is clean without blemishes.
